Tragic Incident Near the Houston Area Takes Lives of Two Youngsters, Leaves Two Others Critically Injured
Law enforcement reported that two youngsters were fatally shot and two additional were critically injured in a gunfire incident in the early hours of Saturday close to the suburban community of the city of Angleton.
Key Information About the Young Victims and Response
The Brazoria county sheriffâs office were dispatched to reports of the gunfire and located two minors, 13 and four years old, who had been shot to death.
Two additional minors, ages eight and nine, were transported via helicopter to a trauma center and were in critical condition.
Individuals Involved Taken into Custody
All individuals believed to be involved in the shooting have been detained, the sheriffâs office reported.
âNo further danger exists for residents,â according to an official update.
Law enforcement withheld further specifics about the location of the incident or the circumstances that led up to it.

âAs information continues to emerge, the tragic death of two young lives in such a manner is a heartbreaking event,â authorities stated in a public message.
âWe extend our sympathies to the relatives and all those impacted as we gather more information about this devastating event.â

Angleton is a municipality of about 19,500 residents and is the administrative center of Brazoria county.
It is located about 45 miles outside Houston and is located in the greater Houston area.
